visudo、RPM Fusion、Network Manager、xdg-user-dirs etc...

Fedora Vostro/Inspiron
  • 再起動したら「Alt+Ctrl+F2」で仮想ターミナルへいって*1rootでログインし、「visudo」でユーザー「tks」がsudoでroot権限を持てるようにする。
#localhost のユーザーtksがすべてのコマンドをパスワードなしでrootとして実行できる。
tks             localhost=(root)   NOPASSWD: ALL
  • Network Managerのセットアップを行う。ここではWPA-PSKの無線LANだったが、以前と違ってGUIでパスフレーズを入れたら自動でつながった。素晴らしい。もしFluxboxでNetwork Managerを使用するためには「~/.fluxbox/startup」に「/usr/bin/nm-applet &」と書いておく。



$ []sudo -s[]

# []rpm -Uvh http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-stable.noarch.rpm \[]

  • 最初のUpdateをする。

  • Pluseaudio の設定。と言っても最初から完全に動作しており、何もする必要が無かった。

  • Evolution（デフォルトのメールクライアントのアンインストール）

[]Moving PICTURES directory from 画像 to Pictures[]

[]Moving VIDEOS directory from ビデオ to Videos[]

[]もしこれらを変更したいなら「.config/user-dirs.dirs」を編集する[]

$ []cp /etc/xdg/user-dirs.conf ~/.config/[]  []以下ディレクトリの自動再作成を止める作業[]

$ []vim ~/.config/user-dirs.conf[]
